Title: PAM planner/CPM
Job Overview
The PAM/Planner/CPM manages the project and project team within a cross functional environment, providing leadership and structured roadmaps. The CPM report and communicate in Steering Committee, Decision Bodies, Management and customer forums.
Responsibilities and Duties
The main responsibilities of CPM include:
• Creating, maintaining, and aligning project Main Time Plan with time plan from functional areas and related projects.
• Managing the project cost - establish, forecast, follow-up, analysis of deviations, challenge, define priorities.
• The project description, development, release, and maintenance.
• Establishing the contract, taking the commitment, requesting the needed resources for the project.
• Contributing to leading the Pre-Study, depending on the specific assignment, together with Product Planning in industrialization projects
• Acting as the primary negotiator for the feasibility study and for balancing Prerequisites vs. Project Description.
• Driving the project according to established development process.
• To be the primary point of contact with concerned project(s).
• Gate deliverables/tasks according to PAP.
• Identifying, driving, and implementing lessons learned.
• Pro-actively identify and create action plans, communicate impact and alternatives to reduce risk throughout the project.
Minimum qualifications
• An Engineering professional. Desirable to have had PMI certification.
• At least 5 years of cross functional experience from automotive industry and automotive technology know-how, team leadership experience
• Cooperation, delegate responsibility, leads and takes decisions as well as motivating the team in a global complex environment. Communicate and challenge the organization to create a better product and project. Reflect on his/her performance and way of working to improve it. Work pro-actively and challenge the organization.
• Should have good communication skills and ability to network and manage groups of people towards consensus with ability to resolve conflicts.
