Title:  Buyer-CAB Exterior, HVAC

Main Responsibilities:

We are searching for Buyer to join our growing Automotive Purchasing & Service Parts team. As the Buyer role, you will carry out all tasks allocated by the purchasing manager, which may include the role & responsibilities as following..

• Managing of the local and overseas suppliers with good method & strategy to achieve the company’s operation Cost / Quality / Delivery objectives.
• Developing and promoting supplier involvement in proposing more value-added methods of cost reduction.
• Identifying opportunities for supplier negotiation and resourcing strategy to achieve savings and company overview benefit.
• To make sourcing decisions for new models based on best cost suppliers and develop optimal cost structures for purchased parts to clearly compare competitive bidding for new business.
• Work Closely with Technical team to develop new part specification requirement and/or new model/part following technical engineering requirement
• Work Closely with Material Planner and Logistic team to ensure the supplier part delivery on time and non-production disruption
• Work Closely with Supplier Quality / Supplier Development and Product Quality teams to ensure supplier quality performance in-line with Company Quality target
• Acting as Host buyer/ Resident Buyer to support and cooperative with CAB2 purchasing team for handling suppliers in daily operation and business communication

Required conpetencies/Experiences:

To be successful in this position you should be able to multitask perform as above job responsibilities and qualified both of professional / personal criteria below…

• At least 5 years’ experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Project Management, Supply Chain Management and/or related to Purchasing function
• Direct experience for handling Injection Molding Plastic / Blow Molding Plastic supplier handling
• Good Knowledge of Plastic manufacturing/ Technology in terms of business and supply chain
• Automotive Manufacturing & Business Background is preferable
• Good knowledge of Part Engineering and Cost Breakdown analysis
• Analytical Skills and Action Oriented
• Strong accountability & Self Motivation
• Good Communication and Negotiation skill.
• Good Team player with interpersonal skills
• Good command in writing and speaking English, Japanese and Mandarin
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Able to work & base located at UD Shanghai – China office
