Job Description

Position: Process Engineering group leader,Chassis final assembly,MED,UDTO Bangkok

Reports to :   Senior Engineering Manager, Chassis Final Assembly, MED, UDTO Bangkok.

Mission/Purpose of the Job:

Process Engineer group leader to be responsibled for leading and supervising Process engineering and Development Engineering team to ensure that all KPIs to be deliveried according to the target and get involve company strategy and secure team competences development within the functional to support senior engineering manager.Keep Monitoring overall status and ensure all product projects and Industrialization project are introduced according to the plan for CBU.

Scope and Influence:

The scope of the role is to collaborate within Operations & other Cross functional teams like, UDTO IM

Main contribution Process Engineering team leader role, get involve all product project introduce and interactions with all process preparation within operation team like,Intro Engineer ,T&E to ensure all documentation and tooling&Enquipment to be implemented according to the plan and ensure all product project issue (Documents,tooling,Equipment or machines,…) to be feedback to preparation team.

Responsibilities

• Lead to create the QDC targets and the achievement for the responsible department.
• Manage the costs (investments, expenses, man-hours) of the responsible department.
• Encourage continuous growth of team member through work.
• Supervising several or a team of engineers to secure the effectiveness of industrialize and product project implementation as long as provide support and right solution for running operation.
• To be a trainer for Intro Engineer / Process engineer newcomer.
• Manage overall status of product industrialization project implementation , BIP, KPIs status and report to direct manager.

Key targets and results
Fulfilment of operational KPI’s such as:

• FTT
• FDER approval before offline
• Delivery precision
• Product project implementation
• Industrialization project implementation

Minimum Qualifications & Competence

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Over 6 years of proven experience in manufacturing engineer in automotive industry
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in Intro engineering/New model preparation or Process engineering (MED Chassis Final Assembly)
• Excellent technical,troubleshooting,communication, presentation, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to build professional relationships with team member and cross functional team.
• Must have experience working with and coordinating well with multiple organizations.
