Title: Country HR Head - Thailand
Report to: Managing Director, IS Hub Thailand
Work location: Bangna-Trad KM. 21
Responsibilities:
CoE HR Head
• Leading country HR operations, includes country HR Services & country HR center of expertise, Country HR Committees and represent Thailand HR in Country Management Team, Country Crisis Management and Corporate HR Committees and foster HR collaboration across business units to work on the Country HR agenda
• As a Country Management Team member
• Lead, direct, control and follow up the activities to achieve the short and long term operating objectives and financial contribution
• Continuously enhance the Values and professional skills/ knowledge of the people and encourage the people to demonstrate these into the real practices
• Coordinate with respective HRBPs from different functions in supporting employee engagement, welfare, health & safety
Country HR Services Head
• Design and deploy HR services processes and lead the team to proactively support the businesses across Thailand by secure alignment with corporate policies/guidelines and compliance with legislative requirements in following areas;
• Payroll, HRIS and C&B administration – lead and in-house operations of payroll, HR information system & reward administration and coordinate with Corporate HR to carry out global projects
• Recruitment – identify sourcing strategy, lead in-house recruitment team and employer branding activities
• Relocation services - accommodate full process of expatriate management and locally hired foreigner’s relocation, starting from prior entry to Thailand, VISA and work permit, home & school search, expat cost management and exit process from Thailand)
• Constantly review the business model of HRS to enhance the deliverables to business and to strengthen the service quality
• Implement and communicate HR policies and processes in the organization
Country CoE, Compensation & Benefits
• Lead and coordinate the country development, harmonization and implementation of C&B strategy, policies, methods, tools and guidelines across business units in Thailand
• Managing salary review process in Thailand – Budget, Matrix etc.
• Member of the Global C&B network – main point of contact with Global C&B for any changes or new initiatives which needs to be implemented
• Any ad-hoc request from the HRCC on benefits review or request from business area
Qualification:
• Holds a university degree and/or master’s degree or appropriate academic qualification
• Robust personal credibility, integrity, and creativity
• A can-do mind-set with high drive and energy – i.e. willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ when/if needed
