Title:  Manager, Business Control, Hub APAC

We’re searching for an experienced Business Controller to join our team of high-performing professionals and keep our finances positioned for continued success. Business Control will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. This seasoned strategist not only will understand current accounting practices and trends but also will have experience raising capital and adapting to change, whether it’s through growth or downsizing.

A Business Controller will consolidate and follow up on the Business Areas financial performance, do the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting including developing the related processes, tools and principles. The business control team works closely with the executive management and the different business functions, which puts strong demands on order and clarity as well as on business focus in a dynamic environment, business support to APAC Hub UDIS management and participation in different projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BC team in all Hub APAC to consolidate and do analysis for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by area, business and overall including other assigned reports by ensure that data is accurate and on time.
• Assist in the preparation and review of management reports such as sales & gross profit, variance analysis, business trends and other key financial indicators
• Contributes to the financial processes by managing estimates and financial plans and by preparing analysis material and management reports to support the management.
• Interactions with finance teams and BC in HUB APAC and UD Trucks organization for financial insights.
• Lead and assist in the coordination of annual budgeting process and estimate process Secure the accuracy and completeness of the monthly closings and applicable reports which include close cooperation with the finance communities within UD Trucks. 
• Work closely with Director Business Control, Hub APAC to develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows
• Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action
• Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure
• Participate in ad hoc projects to achieve short and long term targets and objectives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Competencies / Experiences　

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, required
• 5+ year experience preferably within Financial Reporting and/or Business Control areas
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis, cost and expense analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Audit and/or consulting background will be an advantage
• Detail-oriented and result-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Analytic and problem-solving skills to identify root causes for business challenges.
• Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and fast learner.
• Curious and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; interact effectively and efficiently with stakeholders in multiple levels of the organization.

• Self-starter with highly effective interpersonal and influencing skills required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and MS office. Experience with SAP is preferred.
