Title:  YC: Environmental Officer

UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. To support the vehicle assembly process to achieve quality and environmental targets according to the set UDTO specifications.

Responsibilities and Duties:

•    Assist in monitoring environmental performance (waste, water, energy usage, Co2)
•    Support environmental audits and inspections
•    Help ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
•    Collect and analyze environmental data for reports
•    Participate in risk assessments and environmental impact assessments (EIAs)
•    Assist in developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures 
•    Promote environmental awareness among staff (campaigns, training support) 
•    Support waste management and recycling initiatives 
•    Maintain environmental records and documentation 
•    Help investigate environmental incidents and suggest corrective actions
•    Help monitor and control emissions, air quality, and water treatment processes.
•    Support to Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.
•    Assist in promoting a culture of environmental responsibility within the organization.
•    Assist in management of plant environmental permits

Minimum qualifications:

•    Diploma/degree in Industrial, Quality, environmental sciences or equivalent
•    ISO 9001:2015 ISO14001:2015 certificate will be an added advantage

•    Knowledge of lean practices
