Title: Service Agreement Specialist
Job Overview
UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. To support & build the UD Service Agreement department in a most effective manner by ensuring optimal contract penetration & to follow the organisation’s policies and procedures to ensure the proper loading of information onto various internal systems
Responsibilities and Duties
Continuously analyse the overall performance of active service contracts to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Ensure GAP Coverage is sufficient, consistently maintained, and aligned with contractual obligations.
Manage the administrative functions of Service Contract Controllers to uphold data accuracy and integrity across all systems
Prepare and present monthly portfolio status reports to Management, Business Control, and Support teams, offering clear insights and recommendations.
Conduct ongoing portfolio management, including addressing KM deviations and implementing contract loss mitigation strategies.
Manage overdue debtors by actively participating in relevant meetings and providing support to resolve outstanding balances.
Conduct system training sessions for both sales and aftersales teams to enhance operational efficiency and system proficiency
Prepare and present monthly claims reports alongside portfolio status updates to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
Review claims using the Technical Price Analyzer and propose process improvements to enhance accuracy and turnaround time.
Conduct ad-hoc audits on claims and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain compliance and operational standards.
Assist with the adjudication of claims when required, ensuring fair, timely, and consistent resolution.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Grade12
Diploma & / or Technical Diploma or equivalent (N5 or N6) – Essential
3 - 5 years’ experience in the commercial vehicles industry, preferably technician/Service Advisor, or a position within Automotive Aftermarket
Computer Literacy Skills (MS Office suite, Excel intermediate)
High level of personal integrity and credibility
Team player with strong logic and analytical skills
Good organizing skills & attention to detail (essential)
Basic Financial skills
