The purpose of this role is to ensure the business achieves its objectives in terms of SQDCPE. Ensure compliance with product quality requirements. Ensure compliance to technical requirements. Ensure Product audit results are achieved. Ensure production health check results are achieved. Ensure First time through is achieved.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:


•    To inspect quality of product in process 100% as takt time of production, inspect all items on inspection card; Inspection items include appearance, connection, function, liquid leaking, critical tightening joint visualization etc.
•    Report inspection result to production/quality leader to solve and improve quality of product.
•    Record inspection result and report to quality leader.
•    Inspect, measure and record all Critical to quality Joints (CC, SC, GA&GB) according to plan.
•    Hammer inspection on process Units.
•    Applied green mark after measurement to identify quality check.
•    Inform/Report joint measurement issue that are out of standard to production/quality leader to solve and improve.
•    Populate Statistical process control data and report non-conformances.
•    Update and report QA-matrix to improve DPV.
•    Escalate Product and process issues to team leader.
•    Initiate and participate on Problem solving (QRPS).
•    Investigate PRA and Offline product related issues through RNC.
•    Drive Zero-defects Quality culture in the shop floor. 
•    Identify and suggest quick kaizens and standardize processes.
•    Promote and Sustain 5S culture.
•    To maintain, control and sustain Standardize Production Culture.
•    Ensure workstations are up to date with new process, Work slips and QI as per GQR & LQR specifications.
•    Training new operators on Technical Assy requirements
•    Shall perform all other activities delegated to him/her by the HODs (Team leader, Engineer, Manager).

•    Knowledge of lean practices e.g. IL6S, 6S, TPS or TPM (Essential).
•    Vehicle assembly/production tools  
•    Technical product knowledge (Heavy Commercial Vehicles)
