UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. The main purpose of the job is to assemble the UD Trucks product by following processes and  required quality standards which meet the customer requirements.  

 

Job Objectives:

 

To ensure the required Key Performance Indicators are achieved

 

  • Check that all equipments are in good working order (AM checklist)
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use and after end of shift.
  • Verify that all parts are available on trolley for the particular model on line.
  • Assemble the vehicle according to the specifications as per Assembly Instruction and Work slip.
  • Confirm the completion of the operation by signing off the Assembly instruction.
  • Confirm with the white marker, the completion of tightening operation.
  • Attend daily start up meetings (green area/L1) on time.
  • Inform Team Leader of any shortages, damages, irregularities on the assembly line.
  • Keep the work area clean & tidy by following 5S Standard. (no loose parts, no spillages etc)
  • Produce the required volume as per the set schedule.
  • Assist team members were required.
  • Carry out instructions as given by Team Leader.
  • Report all safety concerns to Production Team leader by issuing Safety Card.
  • Responsible to update AM checklist before start of shift on daily basis.
  • Responsible to comply with 5s standards on the Shopfloor.
  • Responsible to raise Kaizen/continuous improvement.
  • Report absenteeism to Team leader before the start of shift.
  • Report to team leader when leaving the working station.
  • Report to Team leader when leaving premises before the end of shift.
  • Performs related duties as required by Supervisors.
  • To comply with the organization policies and procedures.
