Role (Purpose of the job)

  • Support the competence development of International Sales in conjunction with new product launch and improve customer satisfaction
  • Support markets with effective and high-quality implementation of all learning & development solutions.
  • Support the delivery of commercial, product and retail management courses for UD Trucks international markets. 
  • Collaborate closely with market’s Competence Development function to analyse the training needs (TNA) in commercial, product and sales roles in the area of UD International market and to secure the relevant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Implement commercial and product training as per training plan and market needs

  • Support the end-to-end process of training execution/ delivery of training:Training need collation
    • Training sourcing – securing vendor , evaluation and vendor appointment (as and when applicable)
    • Training preparation coordination (participant registration, logistics arrangement, venue coordination, liaison with vendor)
    • Post training evaluation in Learning Management System (LMD)
    • Training material documentation in Training course library (CD Portal)
    • Course Management Database (CMD), question bank and training management
  • Coordination on vehicle needed for commercial/ product training execution, Plan for investment budget for commercial and product training.
  • Develop new components that can be incorporated within commercial/ product training portfolio based on internal or external requirements e.g., videos, literature, App’s etc (in the form of E-learning, ILT, self-study), including the need of language translation
  • Look into the possibility of sales/ commercial assessment for the market, plan and execute the respective program, encourage participation from UD IS markets
  • Support annual training budget preparation and monthly budget tracking
  • Monitor and report the training (e-learning, online, ILT) implementation status on a monthly basis in CD activity report
  • Ensure all documentation on vendor appointment, evaluation, training material and training evaluation are well documented and updated on timely basis
  • Take up the role as a trainer as and when needed (especially commercial training) – in Train-the-Trainer form

Manage vehicle launch training projects

  • Work in close collaboration with the relevant CD functions and commercial project team to support markets with the development and execution of new launch training implementation plans in line with market specific launch dates and requirements.
  • Identify and secure vehicles, marketing materials etc. required for the training delivery.  .

Implementation of Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Implement theoretical and practical assessment tools to measure the transfer of learning.  Monitor the successful completion of assessments using the LMS System
  • Drive the implementation of LMS across the markets, encouraging the enrolment of user into UD LMS.
  • Create training courses in course library and manage training code in master list
  • Support the registration of user on commercial training course conducted by UD IS
  • Manage job role creation, curricula, training pass and training evaluation for commercial training
  • Superuser role to upkeep UD LMS, CMD and question bank

 

Competencies Required

  • Bachelors degree with at least 3 years working experience as training administrator/ training field
  • Experience in competence development portfolio or commercial vehicle business is an added advantage
  • Experience in managing Learning Management System (LMS) preferred
  • Fully proficient in MS Office applications (excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fully Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint/ Box.
  • Experience in Microsoft Power platform is an added advantage
  • Passion for competence development management
