Role (Purpose of the job)

 

  • Support the competence development of Isuzu Group Heavy Duty product line-up to deliver good ownership experience and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and deliver commercial, product and retail management courses for respective international markets. 
  • Collaborate closely with region offices and markets to define competence development needs in commercial, product and sales roles in the area of heavy duty International markets and to secure the relevant solutions, eventually driving behavioral change and effective selling.
  • Actively create/coach/drive & support region offices with effective and high-quality implementation of all learning & development solutions.
  • Ensure governance and alignment of all training content with ISUZU Group brand guidelines and strategic direction, including review and approval processes where applicable.

Key Responsibilities


Align CD initiatives with business requirements

  • Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with ISUZU Group stakeholders to reflect both global standards and brand-specific requirements.
  • Define and fulfil curricula based on business needs and priorities to support the growth objective of Isuzu Group Heavy Duty Organization.
  • Identify the commercial/ product/ soft skills training courses in-line with strategic objectives, new product launch and regional/ local market need.  
  • Develop annual training plan, training calendar and training budget in accordance to defined timeline and secure proper approval.
  • Support region offices to develop clear actions plans that will close key competence gaps and ensure follow-through on agreed actions.
  • Set and monitor training target, create evaluation structures to obtain required outcomes.
  • Develop framework to measure training effectiveness in improving customer satisfaction, productivity, efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide reporting as and when needed to management
  • Customise/adapt and coordinate translation of material as and when needed.
  • Source for training/ material development/ translation vendor with full adherence of the purchasing process and compliance
  • Support trainer development through the implementation of the trainer certification programme and 360 feedback (training execution observation and feedback).
  • Support the training execution on other trainings as and when required (system, process, commercial soft skills)

 

Implement commercial and product training as per training plan and market needs

  • Implement commercial development “train the trainer” program through a planned delivery schedule and with consistent content and delivery standard.
  • Coordination on vehicle needed for commercial/ product training execution, Plan for investment budget for commercial and product training.
  • Monitor and guide commercial/ product trainers in implementation of the commercial / product development programs in their own regions / markets.
  • Provide specialist support to commercial/ product training programmes in markets for key customers.
  • Input and co-develop commercial competency requirements into new product projects in alignment with ISUZU Group product strategy and positioning.
  • Design, customize and develop training  contents  ( not limited to videos, literature, apps, e-learning, ILT, self-study) in alignment with brand, product strategy and market needs
  • Look into the possibility of sales/ commercial assessment for the market, plan and execute the respective program

 

Manage vehicle launch training projects

  • Work with product and commercial project team to support markets with the development and execution of new launch training implementation plans in line with market specific launch dates and requirements.
  • Monitor and report the learning progress to project team, ensure Market Release Criteria in training/ learning area is met.
  • Secure vehicles, videos/ training material required for the training delivery on time  

Training Administration

  • Support the LMS administration as and when required (system, process, commercial soft skills)
  • Implement theoretical and practical assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
  • Drive the implementation of LMS across the markets, encouraging the enrolment of user
  • Super user/ Admin for LMS and user management in LMS
  • Create training courses in course library and with frequent update
  • Facilitate training registration of user on commercial training courses, accommodation, logistics and F&B arrangement as and when needed.
  • Manage job role creation, curricula, training assignment and training evaluation for commercial training
