Role (Purpose of the job)

Planning service market parts distribution from Central Distribution in Japan and Singapore to Reginal Distribution Centres in Dubai for UD Brand, with the purpose to ensure the right customer service balanced with inventory and cost levels, and to perform thorough root cause analysis when deviations.Perform logistics coaching out at dealers to ensure concept compliance. Support, coach and develop dealers to improve their performance in terms of inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

DIM ( Dealer Inventory Management ) Coach  

  • Analyse the performance of the dealers and identify the gaps/areas which are impacting the KPI.
  • Monitor DIM concept compliance regularly and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth flow of orders
  • Fulfilment of operational KPI’s for Material and Inventory Management in the areas of DIM and drive for a good balance between customer service, tied up capital and cost
  • Manage, monitor & analyse on a weekly and daily base dealer performance within market scope: do root cause analysis, propose and implement corrective/improvements actions (dealer behaviour; stock order frequency; lead times etc.)

 

Refill Analyst

  • Analyse demand and place orders to replenish service market parts in Support Distribution Centres, based on the demand trend in the market.
  • Place orders daily if necessary to stock up extra parts in Support Distribution Centres.
  • The jobs performed above are to ensure the delivery of high availability in service market parts while avoiding building up high inventory level which will affect the cost of capital tied up in stock.
  • Drive the balance in the development of main KPI (availability, turnover rate).
  • Perform analysis and create report and follow up on KPI performance, and to present the result of analysis clearly.
  • Take immediate corrective actions when diverging from KPI targets.
  • Perform other related operations i.e. rebalancing, and initial stock preparation.

Main competence requirements

  • Good knowledge in logistics and stock management both practical and theoretical
  • Analytical and have holistic view on end to end supply chain and logistical set up
  • Demonstrable database management and inventory management experience
  • Good understanding of dealer operation and retail processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Coaching and pedagogical skills
  • Solid analytical and Problem-Solving skills
  • Strong cross-functional Team player
  • Able to take own initiative and have a drive forward simultaneously
  • Business level in English communication
  • Have minimum 5 years of work experience
