Title: Business Controller SPOL SEA
Job Overview:
As a member of the Business Control Department, you are responsible for Monthly closing booking, budget monitoring, Product cost controlling and Internal Control related matters to provide day-to-day support to the department in charge SPOL: Service Parts Operations & Logistics, SEA within the Logistics Organization
Misson of the department:
- Support UD Logistics Division from a financial aspect, to help the department's activities that contribute to maximizing profitability of entire group
Mission of the position:
- Encourage operational and financial efficiency at SPOL SEA in the logistics Organization
- Ensure the implementation of management accounting in accordance with accounting standards
Responsibilities:
- Monthly financial closing related tasks: validate bookings, cost reclassifications, etc.
- Prepare all Financial Reporting requirements package and perform expenses tracking, variance analysis on expenses.
- Prepare the annual operating plan (budget) and regular forecasts for SPOL SEA.
- Standard Cost process (annual SC procedure, variance analysis between actual and standard cost, etc.).
- Monitor inventory movements including inventory reconciliation and coordinate acting plan with operational team.
- Ensure that the financial policies follow the internal control systems and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Support continuous improvement activities SPOL SEA especially from financial aspects
- Proactive and timely reporting to management to identify areas of deficiencies and seek solutions and activate action plan.
Required / Preferred skills
- Accounting knowledge, preferable to have consolidation accounting knowledge
- Mandatory : Commercial bookkeeping, legal entity level
- Preferred : Industrial bookkeeping to cover SCS principle, and consolidation accounting knowledge
- Experience as an accountant or a business controller in either/both Logistics industry or automotive industry, at least 3 years
- Mandatory : Experience of accounting procedure either/both P/L or B/S
- Preferred : Experience and knowledge for SAP, knowledge of IFRS
- MS Apps
- Mandatory : Excel / PowerPoint / Word / Access: Intermediate
- Languages
- Mandatory : English and Thai
