Vehicle Engineering - Product Build Leader
The Product Build Project Leader is responsible for leading, monitoring, coordinating, and securing the total delivery of Test Objects or Product Builds. This role involves attending and chairing all necessary project forums, providing input and status reports to the projects, and representing the Product Build function as part of the EPT (Engineering Project Team).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the cross-functional activities from order to delivery of test objects for Vehicle Engineering scope.
- Gather the needs of test objects within the project for all purposes.
- Create, document, and manage the total test object needs of the project (Project build plan).
- Create, anchor, and follow up on associated detailed time plans for the physical test objects.
- Inform all internal and external functions of their expected delivery timelines according to the detailed time plan.
- Ensure the specification and ordering of test objects are completed.
- Secure variant and BOM reviews according to the detailed time plan with stakeholders.
- Participate and chair all necessary project forums to provide input and report status.
- Coordinate with other cross-functional teams to secure the physical build process and its deliveries.

Practical Experience:
- At least 6 years within one or several areas as Product Development, Manufacturing, Logistic or Purchasing Project Management
- Knowledge of product documentation processes
- Previous experience in leading engineering projects
- Hands-on experience in managing physical build processes
- Proven track record in coordinating with multiple departments
- Experience in handling complex projects with tight deadlines
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and its standards
