UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager Operations, in Solution Delivery, Digital Solutions & IT (DSIT)

As Senior Delivery Manager Operations, you will be accountable for all the deliveries in the operation / manufacturing area for UD Trucks. This covers areas of Operations factories (Ageo, Bangkok, Pretoria) with IT solutions support operation manufacturing processes. The objectives should be achieved through efficient management of your teams, where you will have delivery managers reporting and supporting you. Your mission is to create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation as well as securing the long-term application life cycle. As the leader for the whole Operation area’s solution deliveries, you will need to actively collaborate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a global and multi-cultural environment. To ensure business continuity, quality focus is as a must have value for you to demonstrate and engage to the team. Result driven and customer focused mind-set will also be essential for this position. With your leadership, it is expected to build and strengthen the competence and engagement of the team continuously.

Responsibilities 

• Accountable for the delivery of all IT solutions’ delivery in Operations area, one-time and run-time.
• Drive to maintain and improve a high-quality standard of the deliveries in the scope.
• Financial responsibilities for deliveries in the scope.
• Collaborations with business partner teams and key stakeholders in the area, on solution delivery, roadmap, and other tactical and strategical topics.
• Manage deliveries with both internal team and resources, as well through partners effectively.
• Represent in various steering committees in the scope of area.
• Build up and maintain the core and strategic competence for this area, both from domain and business knowledge view and IT technical view.
• Nurturing a learning culture for the team.
• Build and maintain the team with high performance and engagement.
• Actively participate and contribute to Solution Delivery’s management team on various topics.

• Collaboration with ISUZU IT teams in related area and topics.

Main competence requirements

• Share common values with UD Values, Code of Conduct, high ethical standards
• 10+ years of experience in IT solution delivery and 5+ years’ experience in delivery management covering one-time and run-time activities.
• Knowledge and experience in Operation/“M&L” domains for automotive industry is a must.
• Overall knowledge of UD solutions landscapes especially in Operation area.
• Proven experience on leading leader and teams in a global and multi culture context.
• Ability to work in complex scenarios and deliver high quality results.
• Strong quality mindset and experience in managing business critical solutions preferred.
• Passionate and experienced in developing and coaching people
• Strong on effective communications, experience in stakeholder management.
• Result driven and strong sense of urgency.
• Information technology and related university degree preferred

• Fluent English is a must

• Ability to work cross functionally with various departments
