Role description

As SAP Delivery Manager within the Digital Solutions and IT Office, you will own end-to-end delivery of SAP programs and services across UD Trucks. The role is accountable for project execution, service governance, release quality, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across the SAP landscape, with deep oversight of SAP FICO, MM, SD, PP, Fiori, PI, Solution Manager,ABAP and MQ-integrated environments.

• Lead end-to-end SAP delivery across discovery, fit-to-standard, design, build, test, deployment, hypercare, transition to support, and steady-state operations using SAP Activate methodology.
• Provide strong delivery oversight across SAP FICO, MM, SD, and PP workstreams, ensuring process integration across finance, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, manufacturing, and reporting.
• Manage Application Managed Services (AMS), including incident, problem, change, enhancement, and release governance, to ensure stable and business-aligned SAP services.
• Oversee SAP Architecture, PI / Process Integration, and Solution Manager governance, including transports, testing, monitoring, documentation, and delivery controls.
• Ensure reliable integration across SAP core platforms, Fiori applications, third-party systems, and MQ-based interfaces and middleware.
• Drive cloud modernization initiatives including SAP S/4HANA transformation, SAP Rise transitions, and hybrid cloud operating environments.
• Own delivery planning, budget control, resource management, partner governance, and cost efficiency across internal teams, offshore delivery centers, and external service providers.
• Lead release readiness, cutover planning, defect triage, business readiness, and hypercare activities to enable successful go-lives with minimal disruption.
• Provide clear and timely communication to senior business and IT stakeholders on delivery status, risks, decisions, dependencies, and value realization.
• Build a high-performance delivery culture focused on accountability, quality, continuous improvement, compliance, and customer-centric service execution.

Who are you?

We are looking for a delivery-oriented SAP leader with strong managerial courage and the ability to operate strategically while staying close to execution. You bring a proven track record of leading ERP delivery teams, driving service excellence, and engaging credibly with senior business and IT stakeholders in complex multicultural environments.

• You have 10+ years of experience leading SAP delivery, ERP transformation, or enterprise application services, with strong program, project, and service management discipline.
• You have strong leadership capability across cross-functional teams, offshore delivery centers, system integrators, and managed service partners, supported by excellent communication and presentation skills.
• In addition to this, you hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably within the fields of IT, Finance, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.

Required knowledge/experience

• Strong delivery oversight across SAP FICO, MM, SD, PP, ABAP with a solid understanding of upstream and downstream process dependencies.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA in both functional and technical areas, including R/3 or ECC to S/4 migration programs.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-regional SAP projects across greenfield, brownfield, rollout, upgrade, and stabilization scenarios.
• Good understanding of SAP Fiori applications, role-based user experience, and deployment considerations within enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Architecture, PI / Process Integration, and SAP Solution Manager for governance, monitoring, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Understanding of MQ-based integrations and middleware patterns supporting enterprise application interoperability and interface reliability.
• Experience applying SAP Activate methodology across planning, execution, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Experience managing AMS operations, including SLA performance, ticket governance, service improvement, and transition from project to support.
• Exposure to cloud modernization, SAP Rise, and hybrid cloud environments, including delivery readiness and operational transition considerations.
• Good understanding of process interfaces across finance, procurement, sales, distribution, manufacturing, and surrounding enterprise solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, leadership, project management, and change management experience.

What success looks like (KPIs)

• SAP programs and releases are delivered on time, within budget, within agreed scope, and with smooth go-live and hypercare outcomes.
• AMS performance is stable, SLA commitments are met, and production incidents, repeat defects, and business disruption are reduced over time.
• Architecture, PI, Solution Manager, Fiori, and MQ-enabled integrations are governed effectively, with strong release discipline and low delivery risk.

Stakeholders have clear visibility of progress, risks, and business value, while modernization goals for SAP Rise, S/4HANA, and hybrid cloud are advanced with confidence.
