Job Overview UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. At UD Connected Solutions we are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist IT for Fleet and Fuel Services product area who will be responsible for quality assurance of services within Fleet management & Fuel optimization area for our different products, services, offering digital services to UD International Sales markets and UD Japan Sales. 

Responsibilities

• Create manual and automated test scripts as needed and make sure defined coding standards are followed 

• Track defect(s) and ensure all required details are added while reporting a defect 

• Recognize possible testing risks and update assignment manager

• Plan, deploy and manage test team and test activities

• Ensure test requirements are reviewed, clear and testable, including IT Security

• Identify and describe opportunities for non-functional test activities

• Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to get adequate requirement details to test

• Ensure that manual / automated test scripts are reviewed and all review comments are closed

• Maintain traceability between test / project artifacts

• Deliver test deliverables according to project control models

• Provide inputs to the project manager / delivery manager and the project team about potential risks, current quality of the product and status of test activities

• Ensure all defects are correctly reported, analysed, assigned or escalated when needed

• Support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that the test data is correct

• Identify and describe appropriate test techniques to provide efficient test solutions

• Estimate effort of software testing based on provided requirements

• Secure that review process is implemented and all test artifacts are reviewed as per standard review process

• Create complex manual / automation test scripts

Main competence requirements
• Strong knowledge in software testing life cycle and bug life cycle

• Experiences in working within existing automation architecture using selenium, Appium, TestNG

• Experience working with development team, product management team in reporting bugs, bugs replication and support for scheduling test development projects and release.

• Experience in working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Scala, Gatling E 

• Experience on REST API testing using Postman, writing XPath, CSS Selectors expressions to identify web elements

• Experience in working in SDLC methodologies like Agile and Scrum

• Experience in programming languages Java and python

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Knowledge on cloud based systems such as AWS

• Strong on effective communications, experience in stakeholder management.

• Result driven and strong sense of urgency.

• Information technology and related university degree preferred

• Fluent English is a must.
