Title:  IT Solution Leader - Operation

As solution leader, you will be accountable deliveries in relevant area for UD Trucks. The objectives should be achieved through efficient management of your teams, where you will support delivery managers who you are reporting to. Your mission is to create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation as well as securing the long-term application life cycle. To ensure business continuity, quality focus is as a must have value for you to demonstrate and engage to the team. Result driven and customer focused mind-set will also be essential for this position.

This work location will be Bangalore, India

Responsibilities:

• Main point of contact for business requirement, roll out needs etc.
• Contribute to the establishment of the solution delivery plan
• Define authorization rules for application access and manage application access
• Handle the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business process developer
• Secure solution competence for functional application support
• Secure continuity management for the solution
• Propose prioritization of changes in the solution like error corrections and change requests
• Propose the release plan for the solution including new development in line with business priorities
• Define and decide which business functionality, or information integrity tests to be part of a user acceptance test and secure that user acceptance test will be performed
• Make sure that training needs are identified, and training plan is secured for the solution including complete training material
• Communicate enhancement estimates to the manager of the business solution portfolio, Process Manager or equivalent
• Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed
• Set the requirements and approve hand over from project to maintenance
• Secure that all individual solutions within the assigned sub-portfolio continuously adhere to UD Trucks Policies, Directives and Guidelines
• Secure alignment to governance directives, best practices, business processes and implement recommended tools and methods
• Work proactively with continuous improvements
• Ensure applicable IT security directive is followed for the service

Competencies:

• Mandatory to have:
  • Share common values with UD Values, Code of Conduct, high ethical standards
  • 10-12 years of experience in IT solution delivery and 5+ years’ experience in delivery management covering one-time and run-time activities.
  • Experience in .NET technologies, web application using C#, .Net Framework 3.5 & above.  
  • Experience in ASP .Net web forms, MVC and Entity framework (ADO.net, EF and NHibernate)  
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and above
  • Experience in the Supply Chain and Shopfloor functional domain areas.
  • Hands on experience on TSQL query, stored procedures & Data migration
  • Experience in Agile ways of working
  • Good Process knowledge in Supply chain planning and IOT
  • Strong proficiency in handling technology or product issues by liaising with the technical team and drive for closure.
  • Ability to work in complex scenarios and deliver high quality results.
  • Strong quality mindset and experience in managing business critical solutions preferred.
  • Passionate and experienced in developing and coaching people
  • Strong on effective communications, experience in stakeholder management.
  • Result driven and strong sense of urgency.
  • Good experience in ITSM processes and associated tools

• Good to have:
  • Overall knowledge of UD solutions landscapes especially in Manufacturing areas.
  • Knowledge in Control systems, PLCs, Virtual devices.
  • Experience in Data analytics, PowerBI and Azure
  • Knowledge in AI / Machine learning.
  • Proficiency in Japanese language
