Role description
As the Director of Business Administration within DSIT, you will be a key member of the DSIT management team. Your mission is to lead the tactical development of IT Solution Sub-Portfolios that support Strategic Objectives and the Process & IT Long-Term Plan. You will drive the digitalization journey and respond to business demands from Process Owners and Managers in the UD Business Administration area. All activities will be carried out in close collaboration with colleagues and decision-makers across the UDT organization.
- Establish and maintain a framework (a conceptual and communicable structure of ideas) and methodology (a set of policies and procedures) for portfolio management within the organization.
- Develop and sustain portfolio management processes, including strategic management, governance, communication, performance, and risk management.
- Guide the selection, prioritization, balancing, and termination of portfolio components to ensure alignment with strategic goals and organizational priorities.
- Develop and maintain a digitalization roadmap, and take ownership of its implementation to support the strategic objectives of the Business Administration area.
- Ensure the appropriate infrastructure and systems are in place to support portfolio management processes.
- Manage the IT-related budget and costs for the assigned portfolio, continuously driving cost efficiency.
- Continuously review, reallocate, reprioritize, and optimize the portfolio to maintain alignment with evolving organizational goals and market dynamics.
- Provide key stakeholders with timely assessments of portfolio component selection, prioritization, and performance, and proactively identify and address portfolio-level issues and risks.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Meet the information needs of current and future stakeholders.
- Support function-level decision-making by ensuring timely and consistent communication to stakeholders regarding progress, changes, and impacts on portfolio components.
- Foster active executive sponsorship and engagement for the portfolio and its components from initiation through execution.
- Participate in program and project reviews to reflect function-level support, leadership, and involvement in key decisions.

- Proven leadership experience (10+ years), with the ability to lead business functions. Your leadership style is defined by managerial courage, business acumen, and the ability to build trust.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and engagingly. You foster cross-functional collaboration and build effective networks across the organization.
- A university degree or equivalent, preferably in IT, HR, or Management.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience in Process and IT, as well as Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of general Business Administration (BA) processes and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering large-scale, multi-regional projects.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Solid understanding of process interfaces with other business processes and IT solutions.
- Deep awareness of the criticality and strategic value of information used within processes.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Extensive experience and expertise in stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead digital transformation (DX) initiatives within the responsible function is highly desirable.
