  • Responsible for maintaining and implementing the process and control of the UD Warranty Policy
  • Responsible for supporting UDIS Hubs for all warranty issues relative to UD Trucks products.
  • Responsible for ensuring warranty performance in UDIS Hubs reaching defined target

 

Campaign Administration

  • Support on external campaign preparation and releasing activity following the decision to launch a campaign and monitor recall realization rate including an economical follow-up.   
  • Plan, define, implement, maintain and continuously improve upon external campaign processes to support UD Products & Hubs in International Markets.
  • Together with rest of team members, support UD-IS Hubs for all Campaign management issues relative to UD-IS Products.

 

Key Responsibility

Warranty Administration

  • Optimize the warranty set up from the claim initiation at dealer until final settlement.
  • Manage and evaluate high cost claim in accordance with Warranty policy and procedure
  • Organize the warranty control, and optimize the system to treat claims and handle litigation.
  • Analyze warranty and campaign data to detect issues (technical or management)
  • Provide support related to Warranty administration to UDIS Hub/Markets.
  • Responsible for UD Trucks products claim quality control and related activities in UDIS Markets.
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with UDIS Hub/Markets.
  • Provide Warranty audit activity on area to maintain or improve competence, identify focus points for improvement and ensure correct
    control of warranty costs
  • Responsible for VDA/MDM warranty related data update
  • Track and analyze warranty cost status and goodwill at Brand / Hub / Market level, request and track associated action plan for Improvement

Campaign Administration

  • Document each decision in minutes of campaign committee meeting.
  • Create vehicle selection via VDA/VMD.
  • Request funds for the activity through ACE System base on campaign decision.
  • Secure campaign spare part availability for approved campaign.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Campaign documents: CIS, PSI and Q&A with related functions: QA PQL/Product Specialist, and UDT Logistic SPOL Material Management.
  • Set parameters for claim handling and economical compensation in UDHP. 
  • Inform Market on campaign releasing and publish campaign document via IMPACT/WISDOM. 
  • Follow on the realization level on Recall/Mandatory/Service Campaigns.
  • Send reminder letter to concerned market if the targets are not achieved for Recall/Mandatory.
  • Follow up, Return or allocate on approved funds for decided activities.(Note: Travel within UD-IS Hubs)
