As a Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering IT solutions relevant to UD Trucks’ manufacturing operations. By working closely with your team and supporting the Solution Leader / Delivery Manager, you will contribute to stable day-to-day operations while ensuring long-term application lifecycle management. A strong commitment to quality, business continuity, and customer-centric delivery is essential in this role.
Job Responsibilities
As a Solution Consultant for the manufacturing domain, you will be responsible for the full cycle of solution delivery, from understanding business requirements to design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Architects, Product Owners, and Product Area Development Teams to provide practical and effective IT solutions for the Ageo factory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understand business requirements, customer needs, and business processes in collaboration with Business Analysts, Product Architects, Product Owners, and Product Area Development Teams across functions
- Create User Stories in Azure based on requirements and aligned with the Minimum Viable Product approach
- Be accountable for build, test, and deployment of software code
- Perform analysis, technical design, solution design, documentation, code development, IT testing, cutover, and hyper-care support
- Work in an Agile / Sprint delivery model
- Provide IT operations support and consultation at the Ageo factory during factory working days
- Act as a support resource and key factory contact for business requirements, rollout needs, and change requests in close cooperation with the Solution Leader / Delivery Manager
- Collaborate with business process developers to establish and maintain a strong network of key users for process and solution support
- Build and maintain sufficient functional and technical competence to provide effective application support
- Define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify solution functionality and data integrity
- Provide regular updates on development progress, incidents, and problem investigations
- Ensure efficient communication between colleagues in Ageo and other sites
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of processes and solutions
Required Qualifications
- Practical experience in web application development using C# and .NET Framework 3.5 or above
- Practical experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, and Entity Framework (ADO.NET, EF, NHibernate)
- Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or above
- Hands-on experience in SQL queries, stored procedures, and data migration
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Fluency in Japanese
- Intermediate level of English
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in Supply Chain, ERP, MES, and Logistics functional areas
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning, Internal Logistics, Manufacturing, and IoT processes
- Experience managing business-critical solutions
- Solid experience with ITSM processes and related tools
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power Platform and Azure
- Experience in Windows Service development using C#
- Knowledge or experience in WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)
- Basic knowledge of WMQ, WMQ Client, and WMQ Explorer
- University degree in Information Technology or a related field
Preferred Profile

- 3–6 years of experience in IT solution delivery, covering both project-based and run-time support activities
- Strong quality mindset

- Customer-focused and collaborative team player
