Purpose
Ensure efficient and cost-effective management of returnable packaging availability to meet component suppliers' demand. This includes overseeing the availability of returnable packaging, optimizing order distribution and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
The role also involves initiating distribution planning, managing stock transfer orders, and ensuring compliance with planning procedures. Additionally, the role involves handling import clearance shipments and requires good knowledge of customs compliance.

Responsibilities
- Ensure returnable packaging availability in the Packaging Pool corresponds to customer needs (component suppliers) in according to user contracts (order level)
- Optimize returnable packaging order distribution focusing reduced cost & environmental impact
- Plan orders by analysing component supplier stock levels
- Maintain accurate returnable packaging stock inventory at the terminal
- Manage returnable packaging transportation planning with effective optimization
- Track and monitor shipments in transit till it reaches to the desired destination
- Promptly communicate any undeliverable items to stakeholders
- Ensure returnable packaging planning is carried out in accordance to procedures and make necessary order adjustments
- Coordinate with terminals prioritizing sorting and bundling as needed
- Follow up on overstock inventory of returnable packaging with component suppliers when necessary
- Set inventory frequency for terminals & component suppliers
- Contribute streamlining cost avoidance towards distribution process
- Manage overall Packaging Terminal performance in coordination with Packaging Terminals
- Monitor and conduct performance review discussions with Logistics Business Partners
- Take ownership of country-level operational requirements
- Coordinate with component/material suppliers to improve packaging ordering performance and inventory management
- Ensure fulfilling packaging user agreements are signed off with component suppliers.
- Work with cross-functional teams on continuous improvements
- Monitor returnable packaging system performance and usage
- Validate and process service provider invoices in line with agreed contracts and keep records for audit purposes
- Track and trace import returnable packaging shipments
- Coordinate with CHA and handle customs clearance
- Carry out adequate analysis & make data-driven decisions fulfilling business objective
- Analize, evaluate, and apply logic and evidence to complex problems and situations

Competence
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics & supply chain Management/ Transport Management / Demand Planning / Data Engineering or any related fields
- At least 5 years’ experience in the logistics/ supply chain field, as well as background in supply chain management, Warehouse management, transportation, and lean logistics
- Ability to analyse large volume of data and perform tasks for day-to-day work
- Proficient in Power BI, Data Analytics systems, Building digital board
