[Job Summary]
As a member of the Isuzu Group, UD Trucks develops and manufactures heavy-duty trucks for the Japanese and Asian markets.
We are seeking a Production Engineer responsible for Engine and Transmission Assembly to achieve high-quality and highly profitable production processes.
In this role, you will establish optimal assembly processes for engines and transmissions. You will play a key role in supplying competitive products to our customers by meeting Quality, Delivery, and Cost (QDC) targets.

[Job Responsibilities]
Production engineering tasks related to engine and transmission assembly 

 1. Management of design changes, evaluation of assimilability, and assurance of introduction quality for mass-produced products. 
 2. Process planning, investment planning, and preparation for production launch of new products.
 3. Project management for new products 
 4. Set up, maintenance, and management of production systems related to assembly lines. 
 5. Development of new technologies and new manufacturing methods. 
 6. Collaboration and coordination with Volvo Group Powertrain production departments regarding product introduction/improvements. 

[Experience]
  University degree or equivalent qualification. 
  Experience working as an engineer in the manufacturing industry.

 -Possesses communication skills to build good relationships with internal and external members and obtain necessary cooperation. 
 -Able to involve those around them and take the initiative to lead problem-solving. 
 -Interested in training and guiding juniors and members, and able to raising the overall level of the team.

Preferred Skills (Welcome Skills)
 -Product knowledge of engines and transmissions. 
 -Practical experience as a project leader or team leader (scale does not matter). 
 -Experience in negotiation and coordination with customers or other departments. 
 -Experience in technical guidance or mentoring of junior members. 
 -Knowledge/experience with 3D CAD. 
 -English proficiency (TOEIC 500 or above).
