Job Overview

UD Trucks is a company known for its cutting-edge technology and product offerings in the commercial vehicle industry. Within the Isuzu Group, we primarily design and develop engines, transmissions, rear axles, and other components for the UD Trucks brand. Additionally, we are engaged in the research and technology development for future powertrain systems that contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society.

In this position, you will promote comprehensive analysis and various studies related to future powertrain systems for heavy-duty trucks. You will work in collaboration with a strategy and a product planning teams, as well as an overseas development site, to provide sustainable powertrain systems with environmental considerations.

 ・Execution of application engineering.
 ・Research on technology development trends.
 ・Examination of features, setting goals, and formulating evaluation methods.
 ・Other related duties etc.

Required Qualifications

・Knowledge and experience in the overall electric powertrain systems, including design or experimental evaluation techniques.
・Business-level proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking).
・Intermediate to business-level proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
・Knowledge of the dynamics and applications of heavy-duty trucks (Preferred).
