Introduction
We are now looking for a Key Account Manager Japan Sales within DSIT Connected Solutions
The role
A leader who is passionate about our business, connected solutions and who wants to make a difference for our customers. The key account manager will have vital role in building strong relationships with our business stakeholders and markets, ensure high utilization of the Connected Solutions portfolio of channels and services as well as expertise.
We believe the successful candidate has experience from working with project management, business development and/or services sales. Experience from customer facing roles is a merit. Business mindset, personal credibility, integrity and creativity are crucial personal characteristics. You are a social person with strong relationship capabilities and enjoy working with others in flexible team constellations. You have a passion for people, customer value and technology.
You have a Master’s degree or equivalent as the basis for your career. Your Japanese and English are good. International and or Japanese business experience is a merit. The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.
This job is located in UD Office, Ageo, Japan
What you will do
- Be an expert on the business area segments, business models, competitive set and customers’ needs for connected services
- Guide and recommend the best suitable services for the business and customers
- Responsible for the business area / segment solution (i.e. digital channels + selected services), plans and budget
- Run and manage monthly and quarterly review meetings with the business area (Japan Sales) with regards to progress on current solutions performance, deployment plans and development status.
- Manage and monitor deployed connected solutions in Japan for Isuzu group
- Establish a strong collaboration with the product owners, within Connected Solutions (UD & Isuzu) and vehicle development quality assurance departments as well as partners
- Be an active member in the connected solutions management team for Japan Sales. As a member of the management team you will be involved in business development activities
- Be an active ambassador for the Connected Solutions culture
Who are you?
- Knowledge and experience in how to strategically and practically drive business requirements and relationship management in an agile environment
- Solid experience in working with markets and customers in the area of telematics and services development
- Interest in and excellent understanding of our industry and our customers’ business
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Successful in building working relationships / networks and operating effectively in networks and as a member of a leadership team
- Experience in service and solution sales is a merit
- Professional skills and abilities to work in a fast paced, multicultural and diverse environment
- Strong leadership courage and ownership mentality
- A strong believer in culture, genuine care for people and value driven performance
- Good fluency in Japanese language both writing and speaking is expected.
