Title:  Chassis Structure component design engineer

Job Overview:
Developing and maintaining Chassis Structure system and components focusing on CAB suspension system, as a part of UD Trucks Technology, utilizing experiences and knowhow owned by UD Trucks.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for overall development and maintenance work of CAB suspension system and components. The duties include design work, packaging and installation work, simulation, and documentation of the solution. As a product owner roll, this job requires strong communication and negotiation skill with stakeholder in UD / outside of UD including suppliers, to lead cross functional activities in the development work.

- Design, development, and testing of the cab suspension system
- Performance evaluation and improvement of the suspension
- Research, development, and implementation of new technologies
- Project management through collaboration with other departments
- Design modifications and optimization based on customer requirements

Characteristics of the Job:
UD Trucks is offering high-end heavy-duty trucks and has high reputation in worldwide markets. Chassis Structure system and components include Chassis Frame and Cross members, Engine & CAB suspension system and components, which is basic structure of trucks and foundation to secure performance of trucks. CAB suspension system contributes especially to ride comfort and vibration performance of trucks which is crucial for our customers. You will have the opportunities to obtain experiences of engineering work in complete vehicle level. Training of CAD, Simulation tool, Documentation system will be offered.

Required Education & Experience:
Graduated from an engineering university or equivalent, with practical development experience in the automotive industry (minimum of 3 years).
Basic level of English 
Communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and smoothly advance tasks.
Experience using 2D & 3D CAD and project management experience.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skill
