Title:  Business Analyst (Connected Solutions)

Job Overview

UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry.

We are looking for qualified IT Business Analyst (B level), who will contribute in design of quality processes, structure and ensure its execution within runtime domains, based on long term roadmap. This role expectation and responsibility is focus on consistent follow-up, consultation and developing quality methods in order to support delivery teams. IT Business Analyst will work together with quality manager and functional quality leaders of each domain.

Role Summary

As a Business Analyst in the Connected Solution Department, you will translate business and end-user needs into clear requirements and aligned process designs for connected/telematics solutions. You will serve as a key interface between stakeholders and development/IT teams to ensure the solution delivers business value, is well adopted, and complies with corporate governance and information security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit and validate customer and end-user business objectives to define solution requirements and success criteria.
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders on all requirement-related topics (clarifications, changes, approvals).
• Document and maintain As-Is and To-Be business processes 
• Translate requirements into actionable user stories/use cases, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications as needed.
• Establish and manage communication channels with end users and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of target users and their needs.
• Participate in key user networks and forums to capture feedback, drive continuous improvement, and support adoption.
• Support the Scrum Lead to maintain complete solution documentation (specs, user manuals, training materials) and coordinate training execution.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (requirements management, stakeholder management, and process modeling).
• Ability to document processes (As-Is / To-Be) and translate them into implementable requirements for development teams.
• Business-level Japanese and English (verbal and written), able to facilitate meetings and write requirements in both languages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with connected/telematics, fleet management, or automotive/transport-related IT solutions.
• Experience with Jira and/or Confluence for backlog management and documentation.
• Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) and/or SAFe experience in scaled delivery environments.
• Experience working with global stakeholders and vendors.
• Experience creating user documentation/training materials and supporting user adoption.
