We are looking for a qualified IT Business Analyst who will contribute to the design of quality processes and structures, and ensure their execution within runtime domains based on a long-term roadmap. This role focuses on consistent follow-up, consultation, and development of quality methods in order to support delivery teams. The IT Business Analyst will work closely with the Quality Manager and Functional Quality Leaders across each domain.
Job Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst in the Connected Solutions Department, you will translate business and end-user needs into clear requirements and aligned process designs for connected and telematics solutions. You will serve as a key interface between stakeholders and development / IT teams to ensure that solutions deliver business value, are well adopted, and comply with corporate governance and information security standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Elicit and validate customer and end-user business objectives in order to define solution requirements and success criteria
- Act as the primary contact for stakeholders on all requirement-related topics, including clarifications, changes, and approvals
- Document and maintain As-Is and To-Be business processes
- Translate requirements into actionable user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications as needed
- Establish and manage communication channels with end users and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of target users and their needs
- Participate in key user networks and forums to capture feedback, drive continuous improvement, and support solution adoption
- Support the Scrum Lead in maintaining complete solution documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and training materials, and coordinate training execution
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to help ensure solution quality and readiness for deployment
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements management, stakeholder management, and process modeling
- Ability to document business processes (As-Is / To-Be) and translate them into implementable requirements for development teams
- Business-level Japanese and English, both verbal and written, with the ability to facilitate meetings and prepare requirements documentation in both languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with connected services, telematics, fleet management, or automotive / transport-related IT solutions
- Experience with Jira and / or Confluence for backlog management and documentation
- Agile experience, such as Scrum or Kanban, and / or SAFe experience in scaled delivery environments
- Experience working with global stakeholders and vendors
- Experience creating user documentation and training materials, and supporting user adoption
Preferred Profile
- Strong capability in requirements elicitation and documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Ability to perform process mapping (As-Is / To-Be)
- Clear communication skills across both business and technical teams
- Willingness and ability to support User Acceptance Testing
