Introduction

This position is the line manager for the delivery area assigned, and it is required to manage direct interaction with business stakeholders regarding service area in operation and administrative context. Collaboration with various stakeholders in ensuring the business context of the daily delivery is essential.

Along with the UD strategy, to acquire and maintain all the necessary talent and competencies for UD’s sustainable growth by managing the recruitment activity and driving continuous process improvements and standardizations with HR network in the UD in order to secure operations.

In this position, you will be part of HR Services management team and mainly lead the talent acquisition for Japan. Our areas of responsibility are; Recruitment for new grads, mid-career and relevant recruitment activities close collaboration with HRBPs and business functions.

You will report to the General Manager, HR Services. You will collaborate with HR CoE and HRS managers and colleagues and make sure to drive simplification, efficiency and digitalization for an improved employee experience in Japan, also securing the continuous process improvements and standardizations with HR network in Japan.

 

Role description

  • Lead, motivate and coach the respective members in order to secure the professionalism and engagement to meet the given objectives and expectations.
  • Drive delivery optimization for recruitment activities.
  • Learn and deploy necessary localization of the process based on legal requirement.
  • Manage budget / resource plan in respected areas.
  • Maintain daily recruitment operations, administration and communication.
  • Vender management in respected areas.
  • Create strong partnership with university, vocational school & high school, suppliers.
  • Responsible for competency development of the team.
  • Required to collaborate closely with CoE and other HR specialists.
  • Create UD-HR recruitment calendar to show and share the existing multiple task and schedule for more efficient collaboration and project management.
  • Manage IT tool planning and maintenance for respected areas. (e.g. recruitment web site)
  • Address necessary change for new initiatives in HR that is planned as in strategic objectives.

Required knowledge/experience

  • More than 5 years of HR experience, especially in the area of Recruiting.
  • Engaging & motivating leadership.
  • Strong drive and proven track record to develop people.
  • Broad knowledge of industry and an ability to keep informed of trend to maintain effective hiring process.
  • Strong communication and interpretation skills.
  • Be analytical and have the ability to visualize process performance
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to analysis a situation and propose solutions.
