Title: Virtual Build Area Leader
About the team and job
Vehicle Geometrical Architecture (VGA) is part of the Projects and Vehicle Integration (P&VI) organization within Vehicle Engineering at UDTT. VGA is responsible for planning the vehicle concept from a complete vehicle perspective, including packaging, routing, body installation, weight, dimensions, and more.
Virtual Build (VB) plays a crucial role in truck development, as the virtual build data serves as the foundation for vehicle development. Based on this data, investigations and evaluations related to packaging and routing are conducted.
In recent years, Virtual Reality (VR) has also been utilized to evaluate assembly processes and maintainability. These activities are managed under the same responsibility.
To strengthen our team, we are seeking a Virtual Build Area Leader who can lead VB and VR activities across all UD Trucks products.

- Manage VB-related issues in each development loop toward problem resolution
- Manage CAD maturity and release status to achieve development loop goals
- Manage AVP (assembly system for virtual trucks)
Virtual Reality:
- Create evaluation plans based on issue content (vehicle specifications, evaluation objectives)
- Generate VR data considering the evaluation plans
- Promote cross-functional meetings for issue resolution
Late Project Phase to Post-SOP: Mass Production Vehicle Checks
Virtual Build / Virtual Reality:
