Title: System Engineer
Job Overview:
UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. The role of System Engineer is to ensure all necessary vehicle function and system activities are defined and executed in each project to secure delivery, maintainability, and consistency of a fully functional E/E system.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure that electronic component and vehicle function development are performed to secure the E/E system in accordance with defined development processes and methods.
- Plan and monitor development activities and deliverables in each project, regularly follow up on progress, and escalate issues requiring support from line or project management.
- Perform risk management of development activities by continuously identifying risks within the project scope using appropriate tools (risk analysis, FMEA, dependability analysis, etc.) and proactively communicating risks to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and appropriate communication within the team and with stakeholders.
- Ensure that product design documents are reviewed and released in accordance with defined processes.

Required Education, Experience and main Competence:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years’ experience or more in Electrical & Electronics area or equivalent
- Knowledge in Systems engineering
- Knowledge of the system design processes and tools
- Knowledge in hardware and software architectures
- Good communication and documentation skills
