Title: Logistics Packaging Engineer
Role (Purpose of the job)
-We are looking for an engineer who can propose efficient packaging specifications for automotive parts and lead efficient packaging processes.
-You will be responsible for establishing logistics and packaging technologies that maintain quality, meet delivery deadlines, and keep reasonable costs, with a view to implement it globally.
-You will work with stakeholders including different functions within company and parts suppliers to develop packaging specifications.
Job description
-Responsible for production preparation of new models, reviewing and proposing packaging specifications that satisfy QDC criteria.
-Conduct evaluation tests and provide feedback on specifications, update and promote evaluation technologies.
-Improve packaging specifications, plan to use carbon-neutral materials.
-Propose reasonable packaging processes and work procedures to suppliers.
Key responsibilities
-As a packaging engineer, you will be able to propose optimal specifications by taking a broad view of the entire logistics flow, and by proposing optimal QDC packaging specifications, you can expect to see significant results and a high sense of accomplishment. You will be able to communicate with logistics engineers around the world and work globally.

Main competence requirements
-Native-level Japanese and business-level English (required)
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (required)
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent (less is acceptable)
-Perform duties with both challenger spirit and good teamwork (required)
-Interested in international markets and enjoys communicating with people from different cultures (preferred)
-Respects opinions of others, has one’s own ideas, and can respond honestly (preferred)
