Title:  Logistics Packaging Engineer 1

Role (Purpose of the job)

- Secure the necessary parts at the appropriate timing, at the right cost and quality, in accordance with customer orders, supporting smooth production activities and contributing to meeting product delivery deadlines and ensuring quality
- Aiming to shorten production lead times and contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction

Key responsibilities

- Ordering and delivery management of parts based on production plans
- Delivery schedule coordination and negotiation with suppliers
- Achieve optimized stock level of material
- Coordination with internal departments (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, SRM etc.)
- Parameter setting and management for material requirement system

Key interfaces

- Overseas suppliers (Europe, North and South America, Asia)  
- Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Internal logistics, Inbound logistics, SRM

Key performance indicators

- Achievement of KPIs for production stability and inventory management.

- Ability to coordinate with business partners, especially Purchasing and Manufacturing
- Integrity in gaining trust and cooperation from business partners
- English communication skills sufficient to negotiate with overseas suppliers regarding shipment reminders and other matters

- Japanese communication skills    
- Basic PC skills (basic knowledge of Microsoft Office).
