Job Overview:
UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. You wil be in charge of development activities in Brake System and Vehicle Control solutions such as EBS (Electric Brake System), Air Management System, Vehicle Control system and Pneumatic installation, as a part of UD Trucks Technology, utilizing experiences and knowhow owned by UD Trucks.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for overall development and maintenance work of Brake System, Air Management system, Vehicle Control system and Pneumatic installation.
As a product owner roll, this job requires strong communication and negotiation skill with stakeholder in UD / outside of UD including suppliers, to lead cross functional activities in the development work.

UD Trucks is offering high-end heavy-duty trucks and has high reputation in worldwide markets. And UD Trucks is the market leader of Tractor segment in heavy-duty range in Japan market. You will be feeling rewarded through this job, as a design engineers in Brake System, Vehicle Control and Pneumatic installation, which is supporting drivers and securing safety, drivability. It is very important technology area in the heavy-duty trucks.
UD Trucks Technology has mirror site in Bangalore, India. And Brake System and Vehicle Control area is a part of alliance scope with our alliance partner, Volvo Group. You will have the opportunities to interact with colleagues in Bangalore site and Volvo Group including on-site communication

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor Science in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering background.
Mechanical component development work experiences in Automotive industry. 3 years or more as guideline.
Working experiences / ability in international environment. Or high motivation to work in international environment.
Sufficient communication skills – Business level both in Japanese and English.
工学系大学相当出身かつ自動車業界における開発実務経験者、目安3年以上。
海外サプライヤー/パートナーとの業務に対応できること。未経験の場合は、海外サプライヤー/海外パートナーとの業務経験を積む意欲のあるかた。
関連部署と十分な意思疎通を行えること。日本語、英語Business level以上。
